Q101.9
Q 101.9 is San Antonio’s first choice for listening while you work! Our blend of favorites from the 70’s, 80’s 90’s and today, along with our “less-talk gives you more-music philosophy” means that Q 101.9 is the station that plays while you work!
With music from Celine Dion, Elton John, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Rod Stewart, Q 101.9 is the station everyone at work can agree on!
Jim Conlee
Jim’s 35 years in the radio business, from Boston to Los Angeles, began while growing up in Pittsburgh, PA listening to great radio stations. That inspiration propelled him on an exciting variety of formats, including stints in Houston, Arizona, and now, San Antonio. Jim hosts the Morning Drive on Q 101.9 and is the Assistant Program Director. Jim and his wife are proud parents of a daughter. His interests include a love of the NFL, NBA, and other major sports.
Donna McCoy
I've lived in Texas since 1997. The climate here reminds me of my hometown of Charleston, S.C. — hot and humid. I love eating out in out of the ordinary restaurants. I also spend a lot of time in book stores – I’m a big book junkie. Working on my fixer-upper house also keeps me very busy. Donna can be heard Midday on Q 101.9.
Scotty Mac
Scotty has been in radio for 28 years. He has seen a lot of changes in the business over the years. He first got into radio doing Top 40 and Rock and Roll. About 12 years ago he made the natural transition into the Adult Contemporary format. Scotty is married and he has 4 children-2 boys and 2-girls from 17 down to 3 years old. When Scotty is not working you’ll find him shuttling kids to school, youth choir, band practice, church or various sleep-overs.
Delilah
It was a fifth-grade field trip to a local radio station that changed Delilah’s life. She practiced newscasts and commercials, imitating TV ads for Miss Clairol. By seventh grade, Delilah had her first on-air job: "Delilah, on the Warpath," school news and sports. The thrill of the microphone hasn't disappeared since Delilah walked through the doors of that radio station over 25 years ago. Delilah is the biological mother of three children and the adoptive mother of three. Share the love with “Delilah After Dark” on Q 101.9 Sunday through Friday evenings.
David Muñoz
Since joining Q 101.9 in February 1992, David has covered many duties, but his first love is jazz. Since October, 1989 David has hosted Q 101.9 jazz programming, including “Sunday Morning Jazz” and “Saturday Night Jazz.” David also works as an Account Executive for Q 101.9. A native San Antonian, David studied Radio/TV/Film at San Antonio College. Married and father of two daughters, David relaxes by watching movies, travelling, and playing golf, not only with friends, but also in station events.
Jennie James
Jennie has lived in Texas since the age of 5 (Houston, Waco, College Station and San Antonio). She’s married and is blessed with a big family, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 12 nieces and nephews. She has a dog named Moo and two cats named CJ and Sarge. Jennie graduated from Baylor University and has been in radio for 15 years. She has worked in all different formats (rock, country, urban and now a/c), including a long stint at KJ97. She loves it. It’s in her blood. Other than that, Jennie enjoys reading and making jewelry.
