Glenn Beck - Glenn Beck is the host and star of a daily talk radio program based out of Philadelphia, that has jumped to syndication on more than 100 stations across the US in two years. His program ranges from political issues to sad stories about a little girl's death, which prompted listeners to donate thousands of dollars for the girl's family. An article about him in the St. Petersburg Times said he "talks about the day's events with passion, humor and sarcasm. He's winning some listeners, angering others, and leaving some scratching their heads." Beck describes himself as a Mormon whose politics lean toward libertarian but also promotes traditional family values. "I truly believe if I play every single one of my cards face up on the table they can never be taken from me and played against me. I'm not hiding anything. I never feel I've exposed too much," Beck told the St. Petersburg Times. "I'm not smart enough to lie. I'd never be able to cover my tracks." Beck has been interested in radio for more than 20 years, and made his first on-air appearance at a Seattle, Washington, radio station when he was 13.
Rush Limbaugh- Rush Limbaugh hosts the highest rated national radio talk show in America. He is known as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism. Syndicated on 600 radio stations, Limbaugh has the most listened to talk show with 20 million people tuning in each week.
In addition, Limbaugh hosts The Rush Limbaugh Morning Update, a 90-second commentary which airs on NewsRadio 1200 WOAI at 6:40am.
Sean Hannity - The "Sean Hannity Show" is now carried on nearly 500 radio stations, reaching almost 12 million people. He is also host of the highly successful FOX NEWS CHANNEL'S, "Hannity and Colmes". The gutsy talk show host always lands on the "right side" of the issues. Hannity got his start in commercial radio after drawing attention and enthusiasm from his college radio station. He placed a "JOB WANTED" ad in the R&R, billing himself as "the most talked about college radio host in America." A station in Huntsville, Alabama took a chance on the brash young voice. The world of talk radio would never be the same.
Hannity grew up in Franklin Square, Long Island in the shadows of Manhattan. By 1997, Hannity finally crossed the Williamsburg Bridge and joined 77WABC Radio in New York City, the nation's largest market. There he quickly became the #1 rated News and Talk show in afternoon drive. The show became so successful that by September 2001, ABC Radio decided to syndicate Hannity across the country.
Joe Pags - “Pags” is the permanent fill in host for national syndicated show Glenn Beck and is a fill in for Fox News. This up and comer will definitely be one to watch on the national front and we are delighted to have him as a fixture on 1200 WOAI.
Dennis Miller- It's been said that Miller is "One of the premiere comedy talents in America today..." While others are blunt assessing Miller's comedic stature, Dennis himself makes a virtue of understatement, but there is nothing low key about his career.
Miller is a five-time Emmy award winner for his critically acclaimed half-hour, live talk show "Dennis Miller Live" which had a nine year run on HBO. He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy special "Raw Feed", his sixth such special. He was the host and executive producer of CNBC's "Dennis Miller", a topical interview talk show featuring reasoned discourse, opinion and humor. Additionally, Miller has appeared on many politically oriented television talk shows.
He has also been cast in films, usually in dramatic roles, most notably in 1994's "Disclosure," 1995's "The Net," and 1996's "Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."
